"Quesada: The truth of the silence on TV"

Canary Islands Radio and Television (RTVC) premiered our documentary, Quesada: The Truth of Silence, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:30 p.m. The film, produced by Lamberto Guerra and directed by Iván López, tells the story of the death of student Javier Fernández Quesada in 1977, near the steps of the main building of the University of La Laguna. The film presents firsthand accounts from his family, direct witnesses, and audio and visual documentation of that tragic loss, following a 15-year production process.

According to RTVC's own data, the first broadcast achieved a 3.3% audience share, equivalent to an average of over 11,000 viewers, a very positive result for an independent production of this genre.
